Potterheads, young and old, would want to experience eating the food of the wizarding world – from the sweets offered at the trolley while riding the Hogwarts Express, those that can be bought at Honeydukes, Zonko’s and even at Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes to the traditional cooking at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the menu at the Leaky Cauldron or simply Mrs. Weasley’s home cooking.
It is no surprise when every Filipino and Filipina Potterhead rejoiced at the announcement that Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans is now available in the Philippines. Announced by Candy Corner, candy store chain, through their Facebook Account on August 21, 2016.
I grew up with Harry Potter. I experienced waiting for new books to come out and try to be the first one to borrow it from my high school library since I didn’t have money to buy a copy. I love the series.
And also its fandom. Most especially, the artists who produce artworks, keeping the fandom alive.
I recently came across with the works of Gabriel Picolo, a freelance illustrator based on Brazil. He created sketches of spells, curses, potions, characters, animals and others from the world of Harry Potter. Currently he has ten sketches and they are really beautifully made. I will be posting below the sketches as well as the original links. I also added text with his name. Giving credit where the credit is due.
